In this multi-workshop residency, teaching artist Larry Greer presents STEM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, and math) using theatre. By integrating theatre into STEM curriculum students build 21st century skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Choose from one of these topics:
Animal Adaptations, K-2nd, 6 workshops*
Biome Means Home, K-2nd, 3 to 6 workshops*
Global Explorers, K-2nd, 4 to 6 workshops*
The Changing Earth, K-2nd, 4 workshops*
Science of Flight, 2nd, 6 workshops*
Animals and Algorithms, K-2nd, 6 workshops*
Forces and Objects, K-2nd, 4 to 6 workshops*
*The number of workshops per residency can be tailored to your needs. Inquire for more information.
Requirements: Open floor space. White board or chalkboard preferred but not required. Teachers must be present at all times during workshops.
