Dance is a multifaceted tool that can be utilized in various ways within the classroom to enhance instruction. Depending on your learning objectives and the stage of your unit, dance can be an effective instructional approach. In this workshop, participants will be guided through a series of movement-based structures that can be seamlessly integrated into daily lesson plans, thereby boosting instructional effectiveness. Attendees will explore a diverse toolbox of movement strategies, gaining insight into when and why to implement them. Energize your students and enrich their learning experience by incorporating dance into your science curriculum!

Please wear comfortable clothing for movement!

Requirements: A large, clear space for dancing, preferably a gymnasium or multi-purpose room. If available, a large Screen TV HDMI Compatible.
