Giddy-Up and Get Healthy

A Music Performance for Grades K-2

Teaching Artist: Dino O’dell

Read our Teaching Artist bios here

Join award-winning musician and master storyteller Dino O'Dell for a dose of healthy fun. Dino introduces us to a cowboy, a space alien, and five singing carrots and teaches nutrition, healthy play, the "crash" of eating junk food, and the importance of a good bedtime routine. This performance engages students through finger-plays, fill-in-the-blank lyric writing, counting songs, and movement. As Cowboy Joe would say, "On your mark... get set... get healthy!"

Requirements: Open performance space, stage, or gym floor preferred; electrical outlet nearby; areal cleared 1 hour prior to performance; 30 minutes need for tear down. Teachers must be present at all times during performance.

My web design experience goes back twenty years, first directing large corporate websites where I got to learn best-of-class digital design principles and usability. Today through Indigo Designworks, I bring that expertise to clients, ranging from branding and business presentation online for new businesses, to helping take business concepts to the next level for existing ones. I also bring a deep understanding of what tools and support clients will need to effectively manage their websites and social media campaigns after launch
