A Dance Workshop or Residency for Grades 3-6

Working with the four forces of flight; lift, weight, thrust, and drag, students are introduced to the principles of flight through dance.  Using their bodies as a way to demonstrate their understanding, students explore the physics that govern flight and the control surfaces and parts of airplanes that control the motion of an airplane through space.

Available as a single workshop or as a multi-workshop residency.

Requirements: A large, clear space for dancing, preferably a gymnasium or multi-purpose room. If available, a large Screen TV HDMI Compatible. Teachers must be present at all times during workshops.

Fees:  $150 single/$250 double

  • The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate
