In this fun and interactive workshop, Alberto teaches the students the role of a music producer in today’s popular music world. Through guided listening of famous tunes, the students will learn to recognize the various components of what constitutes a popular music song. The students will then be asked to make their own creative musical decisions through the use of computer software. By the end of the workshop, students will have a clear understanding of the job of a producer, while creating and sharing their own songs with the rest of the class! The instructor ties creativity in music to self-expression, making this an engaging workshop for our young students of today.
