How to Schedule A Program:
Browse our online catalog below, and use the filter to narrow your search by curriculum connection, grade level, instructor or creative discipline. Group type will help you find offerings specific to classroom, assembly, or teacher professional development programs. Be sure to click through each program listing to get specific requirements for each offering - our filter just narrows down options for you.
Start your planning process early as programs are subject to each artist’s availability. Submit a Scheduling Request at any time using the “Scheduling Request” button on each program page. If you have questions, or have some information but not all and want to begin the process, you can. The program details on the Scheduling Request form have no required fields and includes space to submit questions and comments.

FAQ’s
-
We recommend that you schedule programs as early in the school year as possible to reserve the artists and dates of your preference, as KCYA programs are subject to artist availability.
After the artist has verified his/her availability, we will confirm the details with you by email.
As soon as the program is booked, we will email you a Program Confirmation/Invoice, and a Program Evaluation Form.
Please make sure all equipment needs listed on the Program Confirmation are met by the date of the program.
-
For all programs, a teacher or administrator must be present in the room at all times. There are no exceptions to this policy.
-
KCYA has prepared a Teacher Program Guide (TPG) for each program that details the teaching artist’s biography, program goals & objectives, discussion ideas, pre- and post-activities, vocabulary words, and teacher resources. These guides provide the classroom teacher with supplemental information to enhance the educational value of the program.
Teacher Program Guides may also be downloaded from our online catalog. Please share the guide with educators, parents, administrators and other interested parties prior to every KCYA program.
