Build students’ writing skills as they construct a tower of literary devices that will prove the sky’s the limit with their imagination! Young writers’ creativity will be challenged as literary devices (personification, simile, onomatopoeia, alliteration, hyperbole, sensory imagery, symbolism) are addressed one session at a time. Students will create an original piece each week, then assemble blocks of the literary devices into a culminating colorful tower, using their writings as bases. Get ready to take plenty of photos of the successful literary engineers and their proud smiles!
